We have a group of 6 adults who will be visiting on September 3rd to celebrate our 60th birthdays. My husband is in a wheelchair. Do they have access to the beach, or do you have chairs available that can get through the sand. In another words, can we spend time on the beach as a group? I do not think so. There is a parking lot that gets to the sand dunes, close to the beach, but the parking lots is at the top of dunes over 20 feet high. I do not recall any paving or "special chairs" that could get the wheelchair with someone in it down to the surf line.
