Broncos wide receiver A.T. Perry ( ankle) remains on the physically unable to perform list, and inside linebacker Drew Sanders (foot) is set to miss an " extended period " after suffering a tendon injury Saturday. Denver coach Sean Payton indicated Sanders will be out for north of four to six weeks.

The Broncos were delivered a bit of a scare when the third-year linebacker was carted off the field at practice Saturday with an apparent lower body injury.

Meanwhile, inside linebacker Drew Sanders had torn a ligament in his foot. Not a tendon. A much easier recovery.

Inside linebacker got his hand sandwiched between another tackler and ball carrier. He should only miss 7-8 days before the thumb is casted in a way he can play.
