Aryna Sabalenka has been through to the Brisbane International semifinal following a 6-3 6-4 win over Marie Bouzkova. Although the top seed fired six aces and won 80 percent of her first serve points, the world No. 44 still had her chances because the Belarusian was struggling a bit with her second serve.

No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka overcame a spirited challenge from 15th-seeded Yulia Putintseva to record a 7-6 (2), 6-4 win in a Round of 16 match on Thursday at the Brisbane International in Australia.

Four players remain in contention for the 2025 WTA Brisbane International singles title. All eyes will undoubtedly be glued on what promises to be a blockbuster as the two remaining seeds look to battle it out for a place in the final.
