Ezekiel Elliott played for the Dallas Cowboys a week after he was left home for disciplinary reasons, and the running back had a costly fumble in the first half against NFC East rival Philadelphia.

Cowboys general manager Jerry Jones elected to bring back Elliott over the offseason despite his lackluster play in 2022, his last season in Dallas. But the signing has been disappointing, as the 29-year-old has slowed down significantly more and has shown signs of locker room issues.
