Dean Thompson will join Sam Hunt Racing full-time in 2025, driving the No. 26 Toyota Supra in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Sam Hunt Racing announced Tuesday that Dean Thompson will race for the team full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series beginning in 2025.

Dean Thompson will drive Sam Hunt Racing’s No. 26 full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025, SHR announced Jan. 7. It’ll be Thompson’s first full season in the series.

Thompson will move up to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025, driving the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing.

The 23-year-old Thompson from Anaheim, California, is scheduled to campaign in his first full-time stint in the Xfinity circuit after spending the previous three seasons as a full-time Craftsman Truck Series competitor.
