New Blood isn't in Resurrection, and it seems like the sequel show is ignoring her and the earlier show altogether.

Fans of the "Dexter"-verse can never forget the shocking death of Harrison’s mother (Dexter’s wife, Rita) at the hands of the Arthur Mitchell, better known as the Trinity Killer (John Lithgow), in Season 4 of the original series.

Dexter: Resurrection will undo a major plot point from New Blood, allowing for all kinds of new story possibilities.
