As the Cowboys owner took the mic before Saturday’s practice, chants of “Pay Micah!” broke out from the crowd, referencing star linebacker Micah Parsons’ ongoing contract situation. The moment briefly interrupted Jones’ remarks, drawing a mix of cheers and a few boos from the fans in attendance.

Jones just cannot help himself, particularly this year with the Parsons negotiations. He seems to need, to crave, the last word, more than we usually see from the Dallas owner.
