Among the many tidbits of news that have dropped surrounding the 2026 film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the additions of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and the return of Mark Ruffalo as Hulk are the most noteworthy.

Ruffalo is circling an appearance in the upcoming fourth “Spider-Man” film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, but it’s unclear if a deal has closed for him to reprise his role as Bruce Banner a.k.a. the Incredible Hulk.

For a guy no one can remember a whole lot of people sure do want to hang out with Peter Parker. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher won’t be the only famous superhero teaming up with him in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
