Ruben Amorim said that Bryan Mbeumo fared well on debut as Manchester United drew 2-2 with Everton. The Cameroon international made his bow in a United shirt after his £65million move from Brentford last month.

Mbeumo pulled on a Red Devils shirt for the first time and started the Premier League Summer Series contest in Atlanta on Sunday. The match finished 2-2 with goals for United from Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount, while Iliman Ndiaye netted Everton’s first and an Ayden Heaven own goal completed the scoring.

The summer signing made an impact early against Everton in a three-pronged attack with Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha.
