Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had his worst game of the season in Buffalo on Sunday and he did something that he's never done before in the NFL.

It's Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes, once again, on Sunday afternoon. The Buffalo Bills are hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in a premier matchup at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York on Sunday.

Now, nearly halfway through the season, the Bills have victories over the two other AFC preseason superpowers — the Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. The Bills have the fourth-best record in the AFC and are only half a game behind the trio tied for first, with the top seed still very much within reach.

The Bills have tried to follow the Eagles blueprint to beating Mahomes by beefing up their front four. They signed Joey Bosa in free agency this offseason, extended edge rusher Gregory Rousseau and used their first five draft picks on defense, including three along the defensive line ( T.J. Sanders, Landon Jackson, Deone Walker ).

The Jags' run game, piloted by Travis Etienne Jr. and Bhayshul Tuten, get the offense to the goal line before quarterback Trevor Lawrence takes it for himself. The extra point from Cam Little is good, and the Jaguars hold a 30-23 lead with 3:24 left in the 10-minute overtime period.
