David Schwimmer has looked at his previous career as a process server and remembered one of the more prominent interactions he had on the job.

David Schwimmer just revealed that he once served Sir Rod Stewart with divorce papers as he opened up about his pre-fame jobs. As you’re probably aware, 58-year-old David is now a hugely successful actor, with the star getting his big break when he was cast as Ross Geller in the hit sitcom Friends back in 1994.

David Schwimmer had an encounter with legendary rocker Rod Stewart before his big 'Friends' days, but unfortunately it was not for a good reason.

Before “Friends,” David Schwimmer had some odd jobs, which included being a process server for his divorce lawyer mother.

Schwimmer, best known for playing Ross Geller on the NBC sitcom, said in a new interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” that he once worked as a process server. That meant serving legal papers, including once giving divorce papers to a legendary singer.

The “Friends” alum previously worked as a process server during his college days, he revealed on Monday’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

David Schwimmer recalled his early jobs before making it big in Hollywood. The actor remembered the time when he served a divorce notice to singer Rod Steward. Schwimmer was a guest on when Colbert asked the actor about the 'unique' jobs that he did before becoming famous in Hollywood.
