Santa Rosa police are investigating the four people found dead in a home during a welfare check Wednesday afternoon as homicides.

Four people were found dead inside a Santa Rosa home on Wednesday afternoon, the Santa Rosa Police Department tells KRON4. Around 3:07 p.m., officers entered a home located on the 200 block of Monarch Court.

SANTA ROSA, Calif. - The Santa Rosa Police Department has confirmed four adults have been found dead inside a home on Wednesday. A police sergeant told KTVU they arrived on the scene of the home on the 200 block of Monarch Court at West 3rd Street this afternoon and found the individuals inside the home but could not confirm the cause of death yet.

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol said.

Officers were sent to the Santa Rosa home for a welfare check on residents who had not been seen for several days, police said. When officers investigated, they discovered four deceased people.

Police are on the scene of a shooting at a residence in Santa Rosa with four possible victims, according to Santa Rosa Police Sergeant Patricia Seffens.
