Starkville, Miss. (WTOK) - It was a heartbreaker in Davis-Wade Stadium as the Mississippi State Bulldogs fell to the Texas Longhorns in overtime, 45-38. It felt like déjà vu from that Tennessee game. The Bulldogs just couldn’t finish. Mississippi State entered the fourth quarter with a commanding 31–14 lead, but it all unraveled late.

The Longhorns overcame a 17-point deficit with less than 10 minutes left in regulation and the loss of Arch Manning in overtime to stun the upset-minded Bulldogs.
