Jon Sumrall has had a busy few weeks managing the end of Tulane's season while also being a candidate for numerous head coaching gigs.

Lane Kiffin is leaving his 11-1 Ole Miss team to become the coach at LSU, taking over a Tigers program that has won national titles under three of its previous four coaches

Per the network, Sumrall will receive nearly $6.5 million annually in addition to "significant incentives" tied to the College Football Playoff.
