A 23-year-old woman was shot and killed on Mother's Day in Southwest Baltimore while in a car; homicide detectives are investigating and seeking public assistance.

A 23-year-old woman was fatally shot multiple times while sitting in a car on Mother's Day morning in Southwest Baltimore. According to police, on May 11, at around 10:41 a.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Mount Wood Road to investigate gunshots.

Two people were killed in separate shootings this weekend in Baltimore, including a 23-year-old woman who was found wounded in a vehicle.
