Andor creator Tony Gilroy knew Cassian's romantic relationship with Bix Caleen would upset fans of Jyn Erso from Rogue One.

Bix subjects Gorst to the same sound-based torture he used on her in Season 1. Dr. Gorst is an Imperial interrogator introduced in Andor Season 1.

Bix certainly gave Dr. Gorst his just desserts in Andor season 2, but creator Tony Gilroy had even stranger plans for revenge.

“It also magnifies Cassian’s tragedy, really,” Tony Gilroy said. “The child that he doesn’t even know about or ever meet or know what he’s missing.” ...
