FINALLY! It's taken a very long time, but North Texas will finally fall into the 50s overnight. This is the first time all season and a record, too. It's never taken DFW this long to have a low temperature below 60. The afternoon looks amazing, too. Highs will only be in the middle 70s with lots of sunshine. Enjoy!
A cold front on Saturday brings the first rain of the month to DFW and the threat for severe weather. Once the front and the rain clears tonight, fall weather moves in! Overnight, a north wind will develop.
For the first time in over three weeks, North Texas is expected to get rain. And not just showers. The possibility of severe threats are strongest in the afternoon, as showers move from west to east across the region.
After a long dry and warm stretch of weather, the shift many have been waiting for may finally be on the horizon.
There is a chance for storms, with a low threat for strong to severe storms mainly to the east. FOX 4 meteorologist Ali Turiano has your forecast.
