Use in any recipe that calls for corn syrup—if you’re looking for a pecan pie recipe, this one is excellent. EDIT (12/7/2017): Karo is not high-fructose corn syrup!
Of course, I encountered some challenges and handled them in my usual what-the-heck-is-she-doing style. The recipe called for a half-cup of Karo syrup, and I was pretty sure I had some in the pantry.
That’s partly thanks to Karo Syrup, which began printing a pecan pie recipe on its bottles. It was a clever move, and suddenly, this pie was showing up in kitchens across the country.
