Here is the latest on the dozens of "No Kings" rallies planned across Connecticut on Saturday in protest of Donald Trump and his administration.
Hartford and New Haven saw large turnouts for No King rallies on Saturday. Thousands protested the country’s direction under President Trump early afternoon on the front lawn of the capitol building in Hartford.
Connecticut Capitol Police estimated more than 12,000 people took part in Hartford's No Kings protest (above). A reported 2,500 were expected in cities around the country.
Demonstrations against President Donald Trump and his administration are planned in about 40 towns and cities across Connecticut for Saturday, joining thousands of other protests across the nation slated for that day.

About 30 protests are set to take place across Connecticut on June 14 in response to the Trump administration’s policies, including one in Norwich. In Norwich, the protest will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. in Franklin Square Roundabout, Main Street.
