SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Isaiah Thomas showed he is still a potent scorer, pouring in 40 points Tuesday night in his return to the NBA G League. The two-time NBA All-Star was activated by the Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday and shot 13 for 28 from the field and had eight assists in their 122-115 loss to the Valley Suns.

The NBA All-Star Game is going to look a little different this year, and might even feature G League stars. The new format came after longtime media scrutiny and a history of lopsided scores. What was a competitive scrimmage against the game's greatest was slowly turning into a cardio session for the basketball world's elite.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson is one of 21 NBA players selected to compete in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars on Feb. 14 at Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif., the league announced today. The pool consists of 10 second-year players, 11 rookies and seven G League players.
