WOOSTER, Ohio (WJW) – A lottery player in Wooster won the top prize on Ohio Lottery scratch-off, Ohio Millionaire’s Club. While the top prize is $1 million, the win doesn’t make him a millionaire.

A woman from East Sparta won $50,000 after playing the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, Cash Plus, a press release from the Ohio Lottery said. According to the release, she will get $36,437.50 after state and federal taxes totaling 27.125%. The winning ticket was sold at Mini Food Mart located at 4730 Cleveland Ave. SW in Canton

According to a press release from the Ohio Lottery, the winner played the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, The Three Stooges Pie Payout, and won the top prize. After state and federal taxes totaling 27.125%, the winner will take home $72,875, the release said. The winning ticket was purchased at the Sandusky Food Mart located at 1038 Cleveland Road.

The woman, who wasn't identified by name in an Oct. 17 news release, bought the ticket at the Mini Food Mart, 4730 Cleveland Ave. SW, Canton.
