WEST HANOVER TOWNSHIP — After decades of debate between lawmakers, sportsmen, farmers and other outdoor recreationalists, Pennsylvania’s longstanding near-total ban on Sunday hunting has been lifted.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro signed a bill ending the state's ban on Sunday hunting. The Pennsylvania Game Commission will now determine the number of Sunday hunting days allowed each season.
