NEW YORK — The Red Sox optioned Brayan Bello to Triple A Thursday night due mostly to poor performance (6.3 ERA) on the mound, but also because of the realization that the pitcher “was putting a ton of pressure on himself,” and could benefit by working on his game in a less intense environment.
