The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission says the Rocky Gap Casino Resort can add 54 slot machines and create a new outdoor gambling area.

The company plans to operate up to 1,000 slot machines at the casino. It is scheduled to open late next year, and would be the fourth casino to open in the state.

Maryland’s slots commission is now reviewing two applications for the proposed slots casino site in Baltimore City and three for the slots casino at the state owned Rocky Gap Lodge and Resort.
