Standing as the center of attention during halftime of Tuesday night’s Davidson men’s basketball game at John M. Belk Arena, Steph Curry soaked it all in as the university he once called home renamed part of the highway — Exit 30 off I-77 — after him.

On the last leg of their three-game East Coast road trip to end the 2025 calendar year, the Golden State Warriors will meet the Charlotte Hornets on New Year's Eve. Prior to tipping off against the Hornets, Stephen Curry returned home to college, Davidson, just outside of Charlotte.

The future Naismith Hall of Famer was honored by his alma mater, Davidson College, by renaming a highway exit after him. What was long known as Exit 30 to Davidson College is officially recognized as the Stephen Curry Interchange.

Exit 30, which takes travelers to Davidson, is being renamed Stephen Curry Interchange for his contributions to the school's men's basketball program.
