An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer has shot and killed a Minneapolis driver during the Trump administration’s latest immigration crackdown on a major American city.

Follow the latest news after an ICE agent fatally shot a 37-year-old woman after a group of individuals began to block an immigration-related operation.

Federal authorities said the ICE officer acted in self-defense on Wednesday. Minneapolis officials say video shows officer acted recklessly.

Homeland Security said Tuesday that it launched what it described as the largest immigration enforcement operation ever carried out, tied to allegations of fraud involving Somali residents in Minnesota.
