The HBO series The Penguin , which takes place in the dark and grimy world created by director Matt Reeves in his acclaimed film The Batman , is doing pretty well this awards season. It has picked up some key awards at the Critics Choice Awards,

Colin Farrell has done it all in this business of show. He’s won numerous awards, nabbed an Oscar nomination, had Brendan Gleeson’s fingers thrown at him, given Jamie Lee Curtis COVID, and legitimized superhero roles through a prestige HBO drama about one of Batman’s silliest characters.

Airing on HBO and streaming with a Max subscription, the series saw Colin Farrell reprising Oz Cobb following his debut in The Batman and the actor collected a lot of accolades for his performance, including a Golden Globe win.
