When most of us were celebrating Christmas Eve with family and friends, the BYU football team was arriving in San Antonio. “We’re super-excited to be down here,” Cougar senior defensive end Tyler Batty said.

Restaurant staff at the Riverwalk said they saw a bigger crowd this Christmas, because many visitors are already in San Antonio for the Alamo Bowl.

The first thing jumped out to BYU coach Kalani Sitake when the Cougars arrived Tuesday in San Antonio ahead of Saturday's Alamo Bowl against No. 23 Colorado was the food.
