Election Day is less than 50 days away, but early voting has already kicked off. Virginia, Minnesota and South Dakota were the first states to start early voting on Sept. 20. In Virginia, voters can line up at the polls.

During early voting, eligible Americans can cast their ballot ahead of Election Day. Along with early voting, absentee ballots are also cast during this period.

The United States Presidential Election is weeks away, but early voting already underway in some states. While early voting in New York begins Saturday, Oct. 26, voters in several states, including Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Vermont and Virginia can cast their ballots through early voting sites that opened last week.
