A car sped through a protest in Chicago today that drew thousands to the Loop to decry Trump policies and ICE.

Protests across the country including in Chicago over federal immigration enforcement raids and President Donald Trump’s move to mobilize the National Guard and Marines in Los Angeles are expected to continue Friday and into the weekend.

Records obtained by the Sun-Times show the police have handed over documents that include the names, addresses and countries of origin of people targeted by federal immigration authorities.

Thousands of protesters marched in Chicago against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in their city and President Trump’s deployment of troops in Los Angeles.

A woman is speaking out after she was struck by a vehicle during an immigration protest in downtown Chicago Tuesday. The driver, behind the wheel of a red sedan, was seen on video disobeying commands from Chicago police as she veered down a street packed with protesters on Tuesday evening.

Officers spotted the man with "police identifiers" leaving a parking garage around 5 p.m. in the 200 block of South Michigan Avenue, Chicago police said.

A Chicago protest is planned for Thursday afternoon by immigration advocates, who are calling for ICE tactical teams sent by the Trump Administration to stand down.
