Authorities raided five homes in southeastern Michigan on Wednesday as part of a yearlong investigation into pro-Palestinian vandalism targeting the homes of University of Michigan officials and others.

FBI raids in three Southeast Michigan cities are stirring up reaction after multiple pro-Palestinian student organizations posted videos of the raids saying some of their members were targeted.

The rally will take place one day before Trump’s 100th day in office — a traditional early milestone in which a president’s progress is measured against campaign promises. Michigan was one of the key battleground states Trump flipped last year from Democrats on his path back to the White House.
