Authorities raided five homes in southeastern Michigan on Wednesday as part of a yearlong investigation into pro-Palestinian vandalism targeting the homes of University of Michigan officials and others.

For the second time in three election cycles, Michigan voters last year favored Donald Trump in the race for the White House, helping the Republican clinch a second term as president. Trump in November 2024 secured 49.

President Trump is set to visit Michigan next week for the first time since he won the battleground state in the 2024 election. Mr. Trump's press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, confirmed on X that he will be in the state on Tuesday — one day before the Trump administration reaches the 100-day mark.
