Paramount announced layoffs as the company restructures after completing its $8 billion merger with Skydance earlier this year.

Taylor Sheridan and Peter Berg will co-write the script for Paramount Skydance’s live-action feature film adaptation of “Call of Duty.” Berg, whose credits include “Friday Night Lights” and “Deepwater Horizon,” will also direct.
