In addition to the warmth, severe storms will be possible overnight  Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday afternoon and evening. It was a hot and humid Saturday. Highs reached into the low 90s with a heat index hitting 100°.

Up to 2-inch hail, larger than a golf ball but smaller than a tennis ball, and 75 mph winds are forecast for southeastern Colorado on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The highest threat is damaging winds up to 80mph. These winds will be on the leading edge of the line of storms.
