The Washington Huskies closed out nonconference play with a strong win over the Utah Utes, led by their biggest stars.

Utah featured three 20-point scorers in its most recent contest and hopes to keep the offensive output at a high level when it takes on Washington in Seattle in a battle of former Pac-12 rivals on Monday night.

Washington trimmed that lead down before the Utes took a 37-36 lead into halftime. A slow start to the second half — when the Utes scored just one point over the first four and a half minutes — put Utah in a 45-38 hole. The Utes missed their first five field goals of the second half.
