ORLANDO, Fla. - The Powerball jackpot continues to climb after there was no big winner in Monday night’s drawing. The jackpot has now grown to an estimated $775 million, according to the Powerball website. The cash option is an estimated $362.5 million.
Three Powerball players won a $1 million prize from Monday's drawing, according to Powerball's website. Players from California, Georgia and Illinois each matched all five white balls to win $1 million. The odds of winning $1 million from playing Powerball are 1 in 11,688,054, according to Connecticut Lottery.
The next drawing will take place Monday night. The winner will have the choice of $740 million or the cash value of $346.1 million. Powerball is played in Texas and 44 other states, according to the Powerball website.
