A child was killed and an adult was injured after a Trinity Railway Express train hit their car on Wednesday afternoon in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth police have filed manslaughter charges against the driver of a car following a deadly crash with a TRE train. A 5-year-old child died in that crash.

The child, who is related to the driver, died after a car drove around a barricade onto the train tracks, police said.
