The Detroit Red Wings will be without Patrick Kane when they welcome the Montreal Canadiens to Little Caesars Arena on Thursday night.

Detroit Red Wings head coach Todd McLellan announced the team's latest decision involving star Patrick Kane, handing bad news to Dylan Larkin and the rest of the locker room.

Forward Josh Norris (upper body) will not play against the Bruins and is expected to also be out against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday and Utah Hockey Club on Sunday. He did not play after the first period in a 5-0 loss to the New York Rangers on Tuesday.
