There are two candidates running for mayor of Missoula in the Nov. 4, 2025, election: incumbent Andrea Davis and Shawn Knopp.
Three lawsuits have been filed against the attorney general over ballot language rewrites to three issues that aim to keep judicial races in Montana nonpartisan, following on the heels of a legislative session where lawmakers brought several bills aimed at doing the opposite.
Ballots should be mailed back at least a week in advance to ensure they’re counted. They can be dropped-off in-person after October 28. Polls will close at 8 p.m. on November 4.
MISSOULA — The Missoula Office of Neighborhoods and the League of Women Voters Missoula have canceled the mayoral candidate forum, which had been planned for Tuesday evening. Candidates Andrea Davis and Shawn Knopp were scheduled to take part in the event, but because of a medical procedure, Knopp is unable to participate.
