Dock collapses in Astoria during storm that battered the PNW
PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN) — As strong winds raged across the Pacific Northwest, a dock in Astoria collapsed Tuesday night. The dock, adjacent to the Astoria’s Sixth Street Viewing Platform, collapsed due to the wind and rain, Astoria Parks and Recreation said. Businesses in the area also lost power during the storm, officials said.
