On the snow-packed slopes of Mt. Hood Skibowl, outdoor enthusiasts were welcomed to the spring season by three feet of fresh powder this week.

While ski season typically runs from November to early April, snow-sport fanatics can hit the slopes at these seven resorts until as late in the year as August.
