Authorities say a highway crash near Portland, Oregon, in whiteout conditions caused a more than 100-vehicle pileup.

TriMet will replace paper ticket machines at all MAX train stations and transit centers across the Portland area with kiosks that sell and reload transit cards over the next few months.
