Red Sox prospect Roman Anthony made his MLB debut at Fenway Park while his sister Lia went viral, gaining thousands of Instagram followers and receiving numerous DMs.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony recorded his first career big-league hit on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays (GameTracker), just 24 hours after making his MLB debut. Anthony's hit came with runners on second and third and two outs in the bottom of the first.

The outfielder, who turned 21 last month, is the youngest player to reach the big leagues for the Red Sox since Rafael Devers was called up as a 20-year-old in 2017.

The Reds swung a trade on Saturday by acquiring right-handed pitcher Brian Van Belle from the Red Sox for cash considerations. Cincinnati optioned Van Belle to Triple-A Louisville and now have a full 40-man roster.
