Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors and Hornets
Digest more
Stephen Curry scored 26 points in his annual homecoming game in Charlotte, and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Hornets 132-125 on Wednesday in front of 19,685, the largest crowd ever at the Spectrum Center.
Curry has also been a longtime supporter of current UConn star Azzi Fudd, signing the sharpshooter to his SC30 brand via a groundbreaking NIL deal in 2021, which placed an emphasis on mentorship and positioned Fudd as the face of the sportswear fashion line.
Curry averages 27.3 points per game in 12 games in North Carolina’s largest city, a number that would be the envy of the vast majority of his NBA peers. But he has also not had a 40-point game in Spectrum Center since dropping exactly that amount during his MVP season in 2015-16.
The Curry family stands alone. They're about to be the NBA's all-time record holders for games played by a father (Dell) and a son (Stephen). That's not even counting the games played by Dell's other son, Seth.

Steph Curry returns to Davidson, gets interstate named after him
On the last leg of their three-game East Coast road trip to end the 2025 calendar year, the Golden State Warriors will meet the Charlotte Hornets on New Year's Eve. Prior to tipping off against the Hornets, Stephen Curry returned home to college, Davidson, just outside of Charlotte.
Stephen Curry paid homage to New York Liberty guard and 2024 NBA Three-Point contest opponent Sabrina Ionescu for Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.
Steph Curry’s return to Davidson was more than just an award moment. It was a homecoming filled with emotion, memories and visible family support. Ayesha Curry attended the ceremony wearing Steph Curry’s Davidson jersey, a clear nod to his college roots.
