The Houston Texans lost big Monday night out at Lumen Field against the Seattle Seahawks and not just on the field with a lack of an offensive identity

The Texans finished their Monday night game at 1:24 a.m. ET on Tuesday. After flying home to Houston, they’ll have a shorter-than-usual short week before hosting the 49ers at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.

In the Seattle Seahawks ' 27-19 win over the Houston Texans, cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. was returning an interception when his stiff-arm of JSN knocked the receiver's helmet off. Smith-Njigba gave Stingley Jr. a shove into the Texans' bench area and was nailed in retribution and surrounded by Houston players.

Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba made franchise history in Seattle after his monster game against the Texans on Monday Night Football.

C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans offense had few answers for the Seattle Seahawks defense on Monday night. Houston managed just 254 total yards and scored just one offensive touchdown in the 27-19 defeat. A bulk of the yards came in the fourth quarter when the Texans attempted to claw back into the game.

During the fourth quarter of the Texans' Monday Night Football matchup vs. the Seahawks, wide receiver Nico Collins would go down with a head injury that would lead to him hitting the blue tent, and then to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.

The aftermath: The Seahawks got a short field and scored six plays later on Zach Charbonnet's 2-yard touchdown run for a two-score lead that pretty much iced the game with how inefficient the Texans' offense was.
