Bryan Mbeumo still prefers a transfer to Manchester United after Tottenham launched a £70 million offer for the Brentford forward, according to reports. United are intent on strengthening Ruben Amorim’s attacking options ahead of the new season and completed their £62.5 million deal to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves this week.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are both in the race for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo. The Red Devils have been keen to sign the Bees star for a while now, and the player has also shown interest in a move to Old Trafford.
Mbeumo’s current deal with Brentford runs for another year, with an option for a further 12 months, and it’s understood there is no release clause included in the agreement. Since arriving at Brentford from French side Troyes in 2019, Mbeumo has gone on to score 70 goals in 242 appearances across all competitions.
