India's HDFC Life Insurance reported a 14% rise in third-quarter profit on Wednesday, helped by growth in the sales of retail insurance policies.

The growth in profit after tax (PAT) was driven by a record 24 per cent rise in HDFC Life’s individual annual premium equivalent (APE).

State-run SBI could report profit after tax (PAT) growth upwards of 80% on the back of comparatively better deposit growth and lower wage costs, while HDFC Bank may report less than 7% rise in PAT amid muted loan and deposit growth across the banking sector.

HDFC Life on Wednesday (January 15) reported a 15% rise in its third quarter of FY25 net profit, reaching ₹421.31 crore. This is up from ₹367.54 crore in the third quarter of FY24. Net premium income grew by 10%,

HDFC AMC share price has fallen over 14% in one month and over 6% in six months. However, the HDFC Group stock has rallied 13% in one year and more than 81% in two years.

HDFC Life reported a 14% rise in net profit to Rs 415 crore for the December quarter, up from Rs 365 crore a year ago. However, total income declined
