LIV Golf Indianapolis will return to Indianapolis The Club at Chatham Hills next year, the series announced Saturday to the media.

LIV Golf Indianapolis will play at The Club of Chatham Hills in Westfield from August 15-17: Start times, TV channel, streaming, tickets, weather.

On Day 1 at LIV Golf Indianapolis, Phil Mickelson shed his shoes and summoned brilliance, delivering a barefoot wedge shot from water to the greens.

While TV numbers are still seeing nominal gains at best, the four-year-old circuit is starting to build a little momentum when it comes to attendance.

The event is on pace to become the highest-attended U.S. event in LIV Golf history, according to a news release from the organization. The current record holder according to My Golf Spy was the Dallas event with "more than 50,000."

The LIV Golf Tour returns on Friday in Indianapolis at The Club at Chatham Hills as the top players on the roster compete for a share of the $20 million purse.

Per the LIV website: "Players finishing 49th or lower in the points standings after LIV Golf Indianapolis will be relegated from the league and could return only by playing their way back into the league via winning The International Series crown (Asian Tour) or through LIV Golf Promotions."
