On Wednesday afternoon, the Jets traded cornerback Michael Carter II and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for wide receiver John Metchie III and a 2027 sixth-round pick.

The Cardinals announced that both Hall and Carter were re-signed to the practice squad. To make room for them, they cut receiver Bryson Green and running back D'Ernest Johnson from it.

The Cardinals intend to re-sign Carter in the near future, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
