Regardless of development, heavy rain is forecast across most of Florida during the week.

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a tropical disturbance that has low chance of development as it moves toward Florida's Gulf Coast over the next few days.

Forecasts show the low tracking across the Florida Peninsula Tuesday, and entering into the northeastern Gulf by Tuesday evening.
